Is anyone else on here into labeled packaging or control panels (industrial design) in whole or in part because of the words (or names) portrayed on them?

Cool userpic by the way...

Anyway, I gave lots of thought to your question... At first I was thinking about conveying with pictures, but in the end, if we like different words, the point might get lost? If you are curious though what type of packaging I like, I used to post -a lot- to the community 'packagelove'.

Anyway, perhaps the best way to answer your question is to ask two more... Have you ever saved an empty wrapper or bag (or bought one whose contents you were not interested in) because of certain words found on them? Also, has the presence of a certain word on an eBay item (not the listing, but the item herself) ever increased what you are willing to spend? In my case, the answer is 'Yes' to both questions...

As for specific words, some of the better ones for me are:

Directions (capital D)
For (capital F)
leave (any case)
Do (capital D)

and of course "La" (or in some cases words/names starting with her).

In researching your question, I found surprisingly that most of my 'packagelove' stands (or nearly stands) on their own merit (This tin is an excellent example of something who can do well without a sexy word on her) , but there are certain cases where I took a picture or bought something only because of a few sexy words....
